Carrie Neubecker, Ph.D.

Dr. Carrie Neubecker received her undergraduate training in psychology and health at Eastern Michigan University. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Center for Humanistic Studies Graduate School.

Dr. Neubecker specializes in working with children, adolescents and adults who are dealing with eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. She has developed and maintained a private, outpatient psychotherapy practice with offices in Troy and Grand Blanc, Michigan. Her extensive work with children and their families utilizes diverse methodologies including play therapy and parental education. She also develops and facilitates support groups for elementary school students. These groups target self-esteem and the facilitation of pro-social, self-enhancing behaviors.

Dr. Neubecker has worked closely in a team of mental health professionals in the process of successful reunification of foster care children with their families. She is committed to maintaining a healthy lifestyle through nutritious food choices and regular exercise. She looks forward to working with the C.H.I.P. mentorship team in the area of mental health.
