Melissa H. Knudson, R.D.

Melissa Knudson is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Counselor, specializing in adolescent nutrition, the nutritional treatment of eating disorders, sports nutrition, women's health issues, diabetes, and general wellness counseling. Her services include individual nutrition assessment and goal setting, meal planning, group counseling, and educational programs for teenagers and children, parents, teachers, coaches, athletes and women's groups.

Melissa received her Bachelor's degree in Dietetics from Michigan State University, and completed an internship with the Michigan Department of Public Health. She is a member of the American Dietetic Association, SCAN (Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists), the International Academy of Eating Disorders, and the Nutrition Entrepreneurs of Michigan. She is an active participant and provider of services for William Beaumont Hospital's Eating Disorder Program.
