Sherry McLaughlin, MSPT, OCS, CSCS

A 1990 graduate of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, MI, Sherry has practiced in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation clinics in Southeastern Michigan for over 14 years. In addition to being the founder of MIHP, Inc. and TriPLAYnar Technology, she has instructed Kinesiology and Orthopedic Techniques for the PTA Program at Macomb Community College since 1994. She is an orthopedic certified specialist and a certified strength and conditioning specialist.

In 1998, Sherry founded the Michigan Institute for Human Performance, Inc., (MIHP), and the Think Tank was formed. MIHP provides orthopedic physical therapy, biomechanical assessments, sport-specific conditioning and seminars to athletes of all ages and levels. MIHP moved into its Warren headquarters location in November 2002.

Sherry has developed several seminars including The Missing Link, The MoveWell Corporate Solution, Optimal Golf, Run Pain-Free and BackTalk, a back injury prevention program that is currently being utilized in several General Motors, Delphi and Northrop Grumman facilities in the United States. She has acted as a consultant to these corporations as well as Sears Holding Corporation and AT&T. She has served as a consultant to USA Michigan Volleyball and the Detroit Vipers Hockey Organization. She is also editor of Synergy, a bi-monthly newsletter of the MIHP Think Tank, which is currently circulated to healthcare and fitness professionals nationwide.

Sherry is known by her students, peers and seminar participants as a thought leader in biomechanics through her insightful methods in orthopedic rehabilitation, injury prevention and sports-specific conditioning. She is prolific in her ideas of innovative techniques and has captured them in workbooks, videos and articles that she produces to support her practice and teachings.
